Lisbon, March 2018 – Meanwhile I was browsing the map wondering which is the place where they have the kizomba party that I wanted to go to, I just saw a writing on Google Maps: West Coast Swing Lisbon. – Really, is there WCS in Lisbon? Let’s check this out! Oh, and maybe I could start with my dancing video project: Dancing around the World! Woohoo!! 🙂 – This is where the story began…
After searching for a little while, I found a contact person. It was Filipe. I wrote to him if he is interested in shooting a dance video together. He replied on the same day and he was open to the idea, so we agreed to meet on the next day. It was a nice sunny day after around a month of rainy days in Lisbon. After chatting for a while in a cafeteria, we searched for some places in the city with a suitable floor for dancing. 🙂 We found some and shoot some videos while having a nice conversation. He told me that he was brought up in the UK and he moved to Lisbon just a few weeks ago. So we are lucky to have met there. 🙂 Later, we also realized that we have many Facebook friends in common. Mostly from the international WCS scene, but also some Ceroc dancers from London who have been visiting Budapest when I was a taxi dancer and a DJ at Ceroc Hungary. Dancers’ world is such a small world! 🙂
Altogether, it was such a fun afternoon outside in the spring dancing WCS in the beautiful Lisbon! Though you cannot see much of the city in the video, and I still cannot deny being mainly a zouk dancer. 😀 However, we enjoyed it a lot! Muito obrigada, Filipe!
